The NTBK66AAE5 manufactured by Mertek Industries has been designed for the Nortel Networks Meridian M1 61-81C. We are pleased to offer a great new product that will replace the NT5D16AA Dual PRI cable on the NT5D12 DDP card for the Meridian M1 Option 61C-81C. The NTBK66AAE5 is manufactured using a single cable from the faceplate of the NT5D12 and both circuits reside on the same bracket. This will eliminate confusion by making it much easier to locate on the back of the network module (IO Panel). The Option 61C-81C NTBK66AAE5 offers full surge protection for T1, E1, and J1interfaces. The NTBK66AAE5 is equipped with two RJ48/45 connectors to allow connectivity from the smart jack. The T1 interface will eliminate the use of a DB15 to RJ48/45 adaptors as well as eliminating excessive cable from being stored in the cabinet.

The NTBK66AAE5 is a replacement to the NT5D16 cable assembly presently used for interfacing to the NT5D12 Dual PRI Card.
The NT5D16 cable is an 8ft cable assembly that interfaces via a DB9 connector on the IO Panel of a 61-81C. The DB15 connectors are used to interface to the T1 CSU.
The new NTBK66AAE5 is now using a single cable from the faceplate if the NT5D12 and both circuits reside on the same bracket. This will eliminate confusion by making it much easier to locate on the back of the network module (IO Panel). The NTBK66AAE5 offers full replaceable surge protection for T1, E1 and J1 interfaces. The unit is equipped with two RJ45/48 connectors to allow connectivity from the smart jack.
